We are seeking an experienced Product Design Manager to lead our design team and drive the evolution of our user experience. In this role, you will oversee the design and implementation of innovative solutions that align with our mission to empower artists and creatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, research, and leadership, to deliver intuitive and engaging products that delight our users.
- Define the product vision and roadmap in collaboration with product, research, and engineering teams, translating business objectives and user needs into impactful solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept development to final delivery, ensuring efficiency and quality across projects.
- Inspire, mentor, and guide a team of product designers while fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
- Establish and refine design processes, advocating for user-centered design principles to maintain consistency across all products.
- Plan and manage multiple design projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design assets that align with business goals and user needs.
- Integrate user research and testing into workflows to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.
- Enhance collaboration between design, engineering, and research teams to streamline project execution.
- Implement and oversee a robust design review process, incorporating cross-functional feedback for continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members, supporting their professional growth and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding efforts to build and maintain a strong, diverse design team.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align on goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the successful execution of design initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of delivering innovative digital products.
- Expertise in UX/UI design principles, best practices, and proficiency with tools like Figma.
- Skilled in communication, presentation, storytelling, and managing projects in agile, cross-functional environments.
- Passionate about creativity, innovation, AI, and generative art, with a strong focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Adept at inspiring and motivating teams, fostering collaboration, and thriving in fast-paced startup environments.
