As a Product Control Associate on the Commercial & Investment Bank team, you will support daily profit and loss reporting and month-end close activities to help ensure completeness and accuracy. Job responsibilities
- Assist with daily profit and loss reporting and month-end close processes
- Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new business initiatives
- Coordinate across front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and on time
- Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control priorities
- Support a strong control environment by escalating issues and tracking them through resolution
- Handle ad hoc requests as needed
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience in product control, financial control, accounting, or a related area
- Experience performing daily profit and loss reporting and month-end close processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a strong control focus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with business and finance stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Understanding of financial products
