Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Server as a senior technical leader across our Streaming Hub Applications (including Application Infrastructure) teams, providing technical direction and influence across multiple engineering teams.
  • Define and drive the long-term technical strategy for Streaming Hub Applications, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Lead cross-cutting architectural initiatives and establish engineering standards that improve consistency, scalability, reliability, and maintainability across the platform.
  • Drive modernization of software development and delivery practices, including CI/CD, feature -controlled deployments, automated testing, observability, and operational readiness.
  • Establish and drive consistent API architecture, design patterns, and engineering standards across Streaming Hub, supporting an API-first platform strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership for Streaming Hub's cloud and infrastructure strategy, including multi-cloud architecture, resiliency, disaster recovery, and infrastructure cost optimization.
  • Identify and lead strategic technical investments and refactoring that reduce technical debt, architectural divergence, and operational complexity while increasing engineering velocity.
  • Lead adoption of AI-assisted software engineering practices and establish reusable patterns for AI agents and AI-enabled developer workflows.
  • Provide technical oversight and design review for large, complex, or cross-team Streaming Hub initiatives, identifying architectural risks and dependencies early.
  • Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, operational readiness reviews, and incident learnings, translating recurring issues into systemic engineering improvements.
  • Mentor senior engineers and develop a broader bench of technical leaders, capable of driving initiatives across organizational and team boundaries.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to improve developer productivity,, onboarding, and engineering consistency, with measurable improvements in engineering velocity, quality, and operational performance.
  • Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and meet customer needs
  • Integrating new applications with existing systems, focusing on scalability and security while conducting thorough system requirement analyses
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for software development, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Mentoring engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Defining and monitoring key performance metrics, using data to evaluate software effectiveness and guide continuous improvement
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the design process, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards
  • Overseeing the software release process, including development, testing, and deployment, ensuring timely delivery within budget
  • Engaging with Quality Assurance to ensure software meets technical specifications and customer expectations, leading project planning and resource allocation
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Salary:
New York Pay Range: $206,100.54 - $309,150.81
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
