How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead the architectural modernization of enterprise-scale .NET applications into cloud-native, microservices-based platforms.
- Establish technical strategy and engineering standards for cloud adoption, application modernization, and software quality.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives supporting customer service operations, call centers, and enterprise back-office teams.
- Design scalable, secure, highly available distributed systems leveraging AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and modern cloud services.
- Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and engineering best practices across development teams.
- Guide teams in adopting modern front-end technologies and API-first architectures.
- Lead design reviews, architecture governance, and technical decision-making across multiple product teams.
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted software development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
- Mentor senior engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Partner with business leaders to align technology investments with strategic organizational objectives.
What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 4-5 years experience with source control tools such as GitLab or GitHub
- 2-3 years cloud infrastructure management and architecture experience
- 2-3 years experience with Helm and other Kubernetes management tools
Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 8+, and object-oriented design principles
- Experience building and deploying microservices using containerized architectures
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and related services
- Strong experience with Git-based source control platforms including GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps Repos, or Bitbucket and CI/CD Pipelines
- Strong front-end development experience using ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and modern authentication mechanisms.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and Single Sign-On.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Strong understanding of application performance optimization, observability, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.
- Experience implementing secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices including static code analysis, vulnerability remediation, and secure coding standards.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Kiro, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, or similar technologies to improve engineering productivity and software quality.
- Ability to make technical decisions and take ownership of software projects
- Adherence to best practices for code development, version control, continuous integration and automation
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills with experience influencing engineers across multiple teams.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
