We step in as the care provider and care planner that work to keep our participants within their communities, out of institutions, and cared for like family, all while receiving the healthcare and social services needed to thrive.

The Principal Scrum Master works across multiple teams to build an agile plan to deliver on the enterprise solutions and ensure that we closely manage business needs and expectations of our solutions, get consistent and frequent feedback on solutions design, and recalibrate as business needs evolve. The Principal Scrum Master is accountable for leading a team of Scrum Masters and delivering leads as organizational needs grow.

  • Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days
  • 401K savings + match
  • Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus
  • And additional benefits!

On the day-to-day, you will:

  • Manage agile solution development and delivery, moving development staff towards a structured, agile approach of iterative and rapid value delivery
  • Foster an agile solution delivery mindset for the organization, training the larger organization on agile methodologies
  • Guide the Scrum teams and organization to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each sprint
  • Use empirical data to help teams assess their Scrum Maturity, optimize Scrum team velocity, and identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
  • Proactively address systemic impediments to team agility and guide the teams on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers
  • Partner with Product teams to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, as well as plan and execute data and information engineering projects through agile implementation
  • Liaison with Business and Technical teams to identify opportunity for process improvements, as well as facilitate scrum ceremonies - sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, daily stand ups, and sprint reviews

Job requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in software engineering, project management, data execution and delivery, software engineering, and analytics engineering solutions, especially managing the execution and delivery of high-visibility, ambiguity, and complexity projects

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Azure DevOps strongly preferred
