Principal SAP Engineer responsible for enhancing, configuring, and supporting SAP BRIM applications. Tasks include performance monitoring, security configurations, troubleshooting, and providing technical guidance.

- Install, configure, and upgrade SAP BRIM components, ensuring compatibility with the SAP Basis environment
- Monitor and optimize system performance, including load balancing, database performance, and network traffic, to ensure efficient BRIM operations
- Manage and maintain SAP Basis technologies like SAP NetWeaver, SAP Enterprise Portal, and SAP Solution Manager, as they relate to BRIM.
- Establish system monitoring alerts and thresholds to proactively identify and address potential issues affecting BRIM performance.
- Manage and tune the SAP database environment, including monitoring indexes and tablespaces, to ensure optimal performance for BRIM.
- Perform SAP Kernel upgrades as needed, ensuring compatibility with BRIM.
- Maintain and configure the SAP GUI and SAP Fiori environment for BRIM users.
- Implement and maintain security configurations for BRIM, including user access controls and authorizations, to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Review SAP security note releases and guide the team in testing and applying relevant security patches.
- Apply SAP OSS notes to address known issues and security vulnerabilities.
- Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for BRIM-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problem
- Investigate, resolve, and document solutions for database problems and other BRIM-related issues
- Monitor regularly scheduled server backup jobs and ensure the ability to restore BRIM systems in case of failure
- Perform SAP system copies (homogeneous and heterogeneous) and client copies as required for BRIM deployment
- Configure and manage the SAP Transport Management System, including migrating transports for BRIM-related changes
- Apply SAP enhancement packages and add-ons for BRIM, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Ability to identify measures or indicators of application performance and the actions needed to improve or correct application performance.
