As a Principal Product Operations Manager, you will build and scale the product operations at Apollo.io, enabling the Product organization to execute with excellence, make data-driven decisions, and drive cross-functional alignment. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will be a force multiplier for the Product, Engineering, and GTM teams—ensuring alignment, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making at scale.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing the systems, processes, and insights that enable our product teams to build, launch, and scale with focus and urgency. Your work will ensure that Apollo.io remains a best-in-class product-led growth (PLG) organization as we continue our rapid expansion.

This role is perfect for a strategic and execution-focused leader who thrives in hyper-growth SaaS environments and is looking forward to rolling up the sleeves to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Product Operations strategy, ensuring operational excellence across Apollo.io’s fast-paced Product organization.
  • Partner with the CPO and Product Leadership Team to drive executional alignment and optimize product development workflows.
  • Build and refine processes for roadmap planning, prioritization, communications and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring teams operate efficiently at scale.
  • Design and drive all repeatable product cadences to optimize for organizational velocity and cross functional alignment.
  • Structure and lead Product Business Reviews, tracking key KPIs to measure success, adoption, and customer engagement.
  • Design scalable mechanisms to collect, synthesize, and prioritize feedback from Sales, Customer Success, Support, and external users.
  • Identify and implement scalable systems, tools, and automation to enhance product operations efficiency. Bring in best in class AI products for the team.
  • Document and maintain best practices, templates, and playbooks for Product teams as Apollo.io scales.
  • Drive sustainable approaches to scaling the team from new hire onboarding to team culture and knowledge sharing.

Your Superpowers

  • Strategic & Execution-Oriented: You thrive at setting long-term operational strategies while executing with urgency and precision.
  • Systems Thinker: You excel at designing simple processes that optimize workflows across Product, Engineering, and GTM functions.
  • Data-Driven Leader: You use insights, analytics, and experimentation to drive better decision-making and product outcomes.
  • Customer-Obsessed: You ensure customer feedback is deeply integrated into how we build and improve products.
  • Cross-Functional Influencer: You collaborate effortlessly across teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Master Simplifier: You turn complexity into structured, scalable solutions that enhance speed and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a high-growth SaaS environment, with 4+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Strategy, or Product Management
  • Deep expertise in product development processes, data analytics, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Strong product analytics skills & experience with product metrics setting and tracking
  • Experience working in a product-led growth (PLG) organization and scaling Product Operations in a fast-moving SaaS company.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing and building relationships with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent ability to simplify complex strategies into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a high-growth, ambiguous environment while driving clarity and alignment.
  • A results-oriented individual who takes ownership of both successes and learnings, with a bias toward action and experimentation in ambiguous situations.
