As Principal Product Architect – MarTech Ecosystem, you’ll define the architecture, governance, and interoperability of tools that power personalized, omnichannel member experiences.
This is a strategic leadership role where you’ll shape how Humana’s MarTech stack evolves to support enterprise marketing goals. You’ll serve as the primary interface with IT and Enterprise Architecture, leading the annual planning process and co-developing an integrated roadmap for all modernized capabilities and platforms—ensuring they are scalable, compliant, and future-ready.

As Principal Product Capability Architect – MarTech Ecosystem you’ll own the vision, strategy, and integrated roadmap for Humana’s MarTech product ecosystem—championing the delivery of capabilities that power personalized, omnichannel member experiences.

This is a strategic leadership role where you’ll shape how Humana’s MarTech stack evolves to support enterprise marketing goals. You’ll act as the primary product owner, aligning stakeholders across Marketing, IT, and Enterprise Architecture to prioritize investments, shape the integrated capability roadmap, and ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and future-ready.

Responsibilities Overview

This role leads the strategy and product lifecycle for Humana’s MarTech ecosystem, ensuring platforms deliver maximum business value, support growth, and address member needs. You’ll partner closely with IT, Data, and Marketing to prioritize development, set product vision, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

 Strategy & Capability Design

  • Serves as a trusted advisor to the AVP of Marketing Technology Product Management, providing strategic counsel on holistic Martech capabilities and assist in shaping team priorities.
  • Define and maintain the MarTech capability design solutions, including orchestration, personalization, content, and analytics platforms.
  •  Own the full-stack view of the ecosystem, ensuring data flows, platform integrations, and system dependencies are optimized for scale and compliance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and guide buy vs. build decisions to support long-term sustainability and interoperability.
  • Prevent fragmentation and duplication by designing reusable components, shared services, and standardized APIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  •  Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to guide capability development and platform strategy.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on MarTech capabilities, integrations, platform investments, and innovation opportunities.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  •  Establish governance frameworks for platform usage, data standards, and capability ownership.
  •  Monitor system performance, usage patterns, and technical debt to inform roadmap decisions and optimization efforts.

Organizational Planning and Management

  • Designs and manages the operating cadence of Martech Product Leadership (staff meetings, LT meetings, QBRs, all-hands, board prep).
  • Tracks decisions, commitments, and organizational KPIs on behalf of the Martech Product team.
  • Contribute to enterprise planning efforts by modeling future-state architecture and identifying opportunities for consolidation or innovation.

 Impact

  • Ensure Humana’s MarTech product suite delivers scalable, compliant, and high-performing solutions that enable modern marketing operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or a related marketing field
  • 8+ years of experience in MarTech architecture, product strategy, or enterprise technology
  • Deep understanding of marketing platforms, data integration, and capability modeling
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise-level budgeting and strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or regulated industries

  • Familiarity with CDPs, orchestration platforms, DAMs, and personalization engines

  • Master’s Degree or technical certification in architecture or enterprise systems

Work-At-Home Requirements

At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$150,000 - $206,300 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
