The People Experience Technology Architect is a senior, hands-on technical leader who translates business problem statements into a technical approach, ensuring we use the right technology in the right way across our HR tech stack.
This person understands platform capabilities deeply, designs end-to-end solutions helping execution teams, developers and partners achieve planned results consistently.
They communicate and clarify HR Experience technology strategy and intent in day-to-day design and delivery forums, making thoughtful decisions and tradeoffs that keep work aligned without creating bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with process owners and SMEs to gather pain points, enhancement ideas, and new use cases across the employee lifecycle.
- Turn loosely defined issues (e.g., case escalations, onboarding friction, automation gaps) into clear, structured problem statements with scope, impact, personas, etc.
- Lead technical feasibility discussions and create backlog for people-experience technology and core HCM, ensuring work is well shaped before it reaches execution pods.
- Design technology deliverables needed to support end-to-end employee journeys across Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, AskGM (AI Assistant) and other tools with focus on measurable outcomes such as automation and efficiency.
- Present solution options to align stakeholders and communicate complex technology topics in plain language.
- Align platform capabilities map to business needs and provide recommendations when process changes are a better fit than custom builds, including escalating major decisions to leadership appropriately.
- Contribute to creating configuration standards for Workday, ServiceNow HRSD and other technology solutions.
- Review significant designs and configurations to confirm they meet experience expectations, architectural and integration standards, and operational readiness.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with People Services and HR Operations leaders, IT, vendor partners and other COE SMEs as needed.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure alignment on solutions and enterprise architecture standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in HR Technology implementation or delivery with at least 3+ years focused on ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Workday, or similar large HR platforms.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering end-to-end HR processes that span multiple systems and teams.
- Experience integrating automation tools and other technologies with Enterprise SaaS solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with People Services (shared services) and increasing efficiency of Tier 0/1/2 support

- The salary range for this role is $140,100 - $186,700 . The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
