From text and image generation to advanced natural language processing, GenAI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) empowers businesses to reimagine their capabilities. However, scaling GenAI and Search solutions requires deep technical expertise, ethical awareness, and strategic foresight to ensure meaningful results. Elastic is seeking a visionary to become our elite leader to guide our GenAI & Search initiatives, align our services with this transformative technology, and drive impactful business outcomes.
What You Will Be Doing:
Sales and Delivery Support and Quality Control:
- Drive scalable, ethical, and impactful GenAI and Search solutions to ensure measurable business outcomes and long-term success while supporting the sale and delivery of our most sophisticated engagements.
- Act as the primary liaison for all GenAI and Search-related endeavors, ensuring detailed communication and teamwork between collaborators, both internal and external.
- Monitor and ensure high-quality sales and delivery of all GenAI and Search engagements.
Product Integration:
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to share customer feedback from the field, and drive co-innovation efforts to increase customer value and happiness.
- Understand the product roadmap to ensure service readiness by anticipating and enabling the vital development and execution ahead of product releases.
Community Enablement, Engagement, and Development:
- Ensure excellence by training service team members on the capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations of GenAI and Search to boost confidence and understanding.
- Participate in the ARB leadership team to establish and maintain technical guidelines, standard methodologies, and protocols. Contribute to discussions and decision-making within the ARB leadership to craft technical direction.
- Serve on promotion panels to evaluate candidates for senior-level advancement, ensuring objective and standardized criteria are applied.
Services Offering Development and Ongoing Management :
- Craft and develop clear, value-driven GenAI and Search service offerings that meet customer needs and market demand.
- Identify high-value use cases for GenAI and Search across industries and build frameworks for their successful implementation.
- Build, automate, and streamline processes for developing and deploying GenAI and Search solutions.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of professional services, consulting, or related field.
- Deep expertise in generative AI technologies, frameworks, and applications, with hands-on experience in implementing Search and AI-driven solutions.
- Proven ability to define and execute a global strategy for GenAI and Search adoption, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive innovation.
- Knowledge of AI/ML tools, search engines, natural language processing, and related technologies, combined with experience in creating reusable assets and scalable solutions.
- Successfully managed complex projects, including defining timelines, allocating resources, and delivering on-time, high-quality results.
- Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and build trust with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time, as required.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in building automation tools or frameworks for GenAI and search solution delivery.
- Familiarity with developing enablement programs, including training workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- A track record of public references or case studies showcasing successful GenAI implementations.
- Certifications in AI/ML technologies, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or cloud-based AI solutions.
- Deep technical expertise and knowledge of Elasticsearch and Elastic Solutions
- Knowledge of ethical AI practices and frameworks for responsible implementation
Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$159,800—$252,800 USD
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:
$191,900—$303,500 USD
