Intapp is recruiting a Principal Consultant to join our Compliance professional services team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted functional lead on complex platform implementations, helping professional services firms  including legal, financial services, and accounting/consulting organizations  resolve real operational challenges through the configuration and deployment of Intapp Compliance software. Your work shapes how clients manage risk, meet their professional obligations, and run their businesses more effectively. 

Day to day, you will lead business process analysis, produce clear design documentation, deliver client training, and support cross-functional Intapp teams including Support, Customer Success, and Product. This is a hybrid or remote role that requires strong independent judgment, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with compliance processes and the needs of professional services industries. 

What you will do:

As a Principal Consultant, Compliance you can expect to: 
  • Participate as the Functional Lead of a project team during the product/platform implementation, serving as the primary point of contact for clients on solution design, configuration, and deployment decisions 
  • Execute business process analysis, evaluation, and design efforts to develop solutions that align the customer's operational and strategic goals, resolving challenges through the implementation, development, and configuration of Intapp Compliance software 
  • Produce organized, detailed, and clearly consumable design documentation capturing configuration decisions and supporting both client teams and internal delivery colleagues 
  • Support the project Technical Lead in the implementation of the customer's design 
  • Deliver tailored product/platform training to client stakeholders on configured solutions, ensuring they are equipped to adopt and sustain the platform 
  • Act as trusted advisor and subject matter expert to the customer 
  • Collaborate across Intapp functions, including Support, Customer Success, and Product to share knowledge, maintain implementation collateral, and contribute to continuous improvement 
What you will need:
Intapp is looking for intellectually curious, self-motivated professionals with a passion for professional services industries. To apply, you will ideally have: 
  • 12+ years of overall experience; including the following;
  • 8+ years of experience as a consultant or business analyst, with a track record of delivering complex software implementations or business transformation projects 
  • 5+ years of experience in a Compliance or IT role supporting business activities in a professional services firm 
  • A strong understanding of compliance processes and the operational needs of professional services firms in industries such as legal, financial services, and accounting/consulting 
  • Familiarity with Intapp Compliance software or comparable compliance platforms is a significant advantage and preference 
  • Organized, disciplined, and flexible independent professional with a strong ability to task-switch and manage multiple competing projects 
  • Emotionally intelligent, engaged listener, and thoughtful communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills 
  • Strong communicator, personable, collaborative, and able to engage credibly with senior client stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated maturity and acumen navigating complex business and professional environments 
  • Objective and goal-oriented, comfortable working independently and achieving targets
