At Spectrum, you will manage billing environments, support critical operations and deliver innovative solutions that align business and technical requirements. Your contributions will directly influence operational stability and service quality for millions of customers.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead technical management and operational oversight of Spectrum billing systems across production, development, testing and training environments
  • Partner with teams to configure and update billing environments, ensuring milestones are met and best practices are applied
  • Engage extensively with internal teams, billing vendors and external contacts to ensure successful project collaboration and support
  • Analyze complex data and generate reports, macros and innovative processes to solve problems and support implementations
  • Review requirements documents and validate updates to ensure continuity and system integrity before any implementation or update
  • Monitor work queues, proactively resolve issues and maintain production system stability to prevent service impacts
  • Support and configure billing instances for test and training, ensuring environments are fully prepared for user activities
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and guiding the team to achieve departmental objectives

Working Conditions
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide exceptional billing platform interface support
  • This position is in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience
  • 8+ years of telecom experience
  • 8+ years working with billing platform applications
  • 8+ years of CSG or ICOMS billing system experience
  • 5+ years as a lead or subject matter expert

Skills
  • Ability to identify complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate cross-functional communication between technical and non-technical teams
  • Decision-making and problem-solving abilities under pressure
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
  • Logical reasoning to evaluate options and approaches
  • Proficiency in personal computer and software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, Visio and Project
  • Effective prioritization and execution in a high-pressure environment
  • Expert knowledge of billing systems and platforms including CSG, ICOMS, Amdocs or new systems
  • Advanced IT operations knowledge and understanding of system interconnectivity
  • Advanced proficiency in billing platforms including SQL, parameter entry, security, product and pricing structures
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed
