The Pricing and Profitability Analyst – Print role is responsible for developing analytics that drive innovation in pricing, margin, and promotional strategies for the Print category. This role analyzes product and customer behavior, standardizes pricing methodologies, and delivers ad hoc insights to support business decisions. You’ll partner closely with merchandising, pricing teams, and leadership to translate data into actionable recommendations that directly impact revenue and profitability.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Implement cost and price updates across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Manage and maintain margin performance by product and selling system
- Monitor and report on customer pricing tiers and pricing effectiveness
- Execute promotional strategies, including loyalty and membership program pricing
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and pricing analytics
- Support pricing strategy decisions through ad hoc analysis and insights
- Partner with merchandising, sales, and vendors to align on pricing execution
- Evaluate competitive pricing and price elasticity to optimize margin and volume
- Contribute to the development of tools, models, and best practices in pricing analytics

What’s Needed- Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of relevant experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or a related field
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools
What’s Needed - Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or another analytical field
- Experience with pricing systems, AS400, or pricing logic frameworks
- Experience with SQL or similar database technologies
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Experience working in merchandising, pricing, or retail environments
