Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Platform Support Specialist to join our team and provide implementation and technical support for the Wolter Kluver CCH® Tagetik for SAP HANA® platform. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation, integration, and optimization of the platform, enabling clients to achieve superior financial performance and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Support and Maintenance:
- Provide technical support for the CCH® Tagetik for SAP HANA® platform, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, metadata synchronization, and reporting.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Integration and Data Management:
- Manage and optimize the integration of SAP S/4HANA® and non-SAP HANA data sources using SAP HANA Smart Data Access (SDA) and SAP Smart Data Integration (SDI).
- Automate data and metadata extraction, mapping, and synchronization from SAP S/4HANA® tables and other systems.
- Ensure real-time data access and reporting capabilities.
Client Support and Training:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions using the CCH® Tagetik platform.
- Train clients on platform functionalities, including financial close, consolidation, planning, and reporting processes.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
System Optimization and Enhancements:
- Utilize AI and machine learning tools to enhance close processes, including AI matching, anomaly detection, and driver-based analysis.
- Support the expansion of the platform's capabilities (e.g. tax compliance, and integrated disclosure).
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless platform integration and functionality.
- Document processes, workflows, and solutions to maintain a knowledge base for internal and client use.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in supporting SAP HANA or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA®, SAP Analytics Cloud,
- Experience with financial close, consolidation, planning, and reporting processes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP HANA Smart Data Access (SDA) and SAP Smart Data Integration (SDI).
- Knowledge of metadata management and integration routines.
- Understanding of AI and machine learning technologies for financial processes.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
