“I can succeed as a Platform Adoption & Enablement Lead at Capital Group.”

Our team builds and runs the enterprise cloud platform and the capabilities that thousands of engineers depend on to deliver business-critical applications at scale. But great technology only creates value when teams actually adopt it—and that’s where you come in.

As our Platform Adoption & Enablement Lead, you’ll own how customers discover, embrace, and succeed with our platform. Starting from real customer pain points, you’ll create the on-ramps, guidance, and support structures—documentation, reference examples, dojos, and office hours—that make complex capabilities approachable. You’ll engage teams early, remove blockers with creative, pragmatic solutions when the product isn’t there yet, and make sure every team lands securely and in line with our architecture, security, and operational standards. You’ll lead a cross-functional virtual team spanning architecture, information security, FinOps, resiliency, and platform engineering, and you’ll shape the enablement for what comes next—including AI-assisted development and modern developer-experience platforms. You won’t do the build work yourself; you’ll influence, coach, and coordinate the teams who do.

“I am the person Capital Group is looking for.”

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • You have at least 10 years of experience across platform engineering, cloud architecture, and/or technology adoption and enablement, including leading enterprise-scale adoption of technical products or platforms
  • You have proven experience driving adoption of complex technical products—engaging customers early, understanding their pain points, reducing friction, and growing usage while upholding standards
  • You have extensive experience delivering outcomes through influence rather than hands-on build work—guiding, coaching, and enabling the teams you support to implement solutions themselves
  • You have a strong architecture, engineering, and software-development background with broad cloud fluency (e.g., AWS, Azure), infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and container/Kubernetes ecosystems—enough depth to solution credibly and set standards; SRE experience is a plus
  • You are a creative problem-solver who devises pragmatic workarounds and interim solutions to unblock customers while respecting architecture, security, and operational best practices
  • You have proven experience leading cross-functional or virtual teams—and leading managed service partner resources—setting direction, delivery expectations, and governance routines while keeping work aligned to enterprise standards
  • You are an expert communicator and product owner with exceptional planning, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills, including engaging IT executive audiences, and experience with Agile/SAFe ways of working
