Bridge Specialty Group, a part of Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Customer Representative to join our growing team. 

While this role can be located anywhere in the US, the hours are Pacific Time, 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday and supporting mostly West Coast Customers.

J.E. Brown, a subsidiary of Brown & Brown Insurance, is a managing general agency for retail insurance agents placing property and casualty insurance for businesses and individuals. This role will serve as a customer service representative, whose primary responsibilities are to assist incoming callers and respond to chats. 

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Handle a high volume of incoming phone calls and chat inquiries while maintaining excellent customer service.  

  • Assist customers in servicing accounts; respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.  

  • Navigate a variety of online carrier platforms; assist and train customers in same. 

  • Learn a wide variety of insurance programs; ability to find relevant information to answer customer inquiries accurately and quickly.

  • Run wildfire and brush mapping reports. 

  • Process non coverage related policy endorsements. 

  • Distribute general email inquiries to appropriate staff members. 

  • Direct phone inquiries to appropriate staff members as needed.  

  • Pursue a program of personal and professional development. 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 

  • Minimum Education required; HS diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • Proficient with MS Office 

  • Exceptional telephone demeanor 

  • Working knowledge of carrier websites (Preferred) 

  • Experience with Agency Management Software Systems (Preferred) 

Pay Range

$24.00 - $26.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
