Based in Texas, this hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on high-impact personal injury cases involving bodily injury claims. You'll take ownership of the litigation life cycle — from answering petitions and managing discovery, to preparing for mediation and trial. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation
  • Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice
  • Order and track medical and billing records; coordinate expert review and disclosures
  • Prepare trial materials, including jury charges when applicable
  • Handle e-filing in Texas state and federal courts
  • Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance
  • Collaborate with attorneys, administrative assistant, and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files

Education

  • A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.
  • In lieu of the above education requirement, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, such as a 2-year paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on personal injury or civil litigation in Texas preferred
  • Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment preferred
  • Familiarity with Texas legal procedures, including petitions, discovery, motions, and court filings
