The Paid Media Manager will lead the development and execution of high-performance paid media campaigns for a portfolio of clients. This client-facing role will play a critical part in building and scaling integrated media strategies across search, social and display. The ideal candidate brings a blend of performance marketing expertise, analytical rigor, and strong communication skills to drive measurable business results for our clients.

  • Own end-to-end paid media strategy and execution across client accounts—including campaign planning, platform setup, budget pacing, bid strategies, and creative direction.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular performance updates, strategic recommendations, and thought leadership in paid media.
  • Manage media budgets across platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic channels to meet or exceed client KPIs.
  • Develop media plans and forecasts aligned with client goals, presenting clear rationale behind channel mix, targeting, and spend allocation.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and deliver detailed reports with insights, optimization opportunities, and strategic next steps.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to integrate paid media into broader marketing strategies, ensuring a unified approach across channels.
  • Continuously test new platforms, ad formats, and tactics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and performance marketing innovations to proactively inform both client strategies and internal best practices.

How We Evaluate

The Paid Media Manager reports directly to the VP of Strategy.

  • 4+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns in an agency setting, including hands-on platform execution and client communication.
  • Demonstrated success in managing performance marketing campaigns (lead gen, ecommerce, or brand performance) across multiple digital channels.
  • Proven experience owning client relationships and presenting strategic recommendations in a clear and confident manner.
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Microsoft Ads strongly preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, vlookups, data visualization).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking implementation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and campaign improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence both clients and internal teams.
  • Self-starter with a passion for testing, learning, and driving results.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $120,000. *This salary range is based off of the market pay for all of the United States; Terakeet applies a multiplier to this range based upon the specific geographic location of a job candidate*
