Injectable Filling Operations Technician s are responsible for filling injectable drug product into primary containers. Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards vi a Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all regulatory requirements (i.e., GMPs). This job includes the following functions:
What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
  • Setting up and changing over the filling lines per approve d procedures
  • Monitoring filling line for efficient run time versus established standards
  • Processing of hazardous and non-hazardous drug products into final containers
  • Routine cleaning and sanitization
  • Ensuring adequate inventory of parts and materials prior to initiating a production run
  • Utiliz ing computer skills to interact with multiple complex PLC and SCADA systems
  • Collaborat ing with maintenance and engineers to t roubleshoot equipment and perform total productivity maintenance ( TPM ) tasks
  • Support ing development and execution of Capital Projects , corrective actions, and continuous improvement ideas
  • Demonstrat ing growth mindset to share best practices, utilize downtime effectively, and learning filling principles
  • Work ing safely and compliantly following all applicable SOPs and standards including recording of GMP documentation
  • Achieving and maintaining aseptic certification to work within graded spaces
  • Completing and maintaining all required training on time
  • Adheres to all area standard work
  • Demonstrating ownership and accountability of the production schedule and product quality
  • Executing in-process quality verifications and sampling
  • Working in other areas if required
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Here Is What You Need
(Minimum Requirements)
  • High school diploma / general education degree (GED) plus
  • An associate degree, OR
  • Veteran/Military experience, OR
  • One year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or GMP facility (e.g. current or previous Pfizer colleague or contractor or similar)
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical experience / knowledge
  • Aseptic manufacturing knowledge

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
  • Previous experience in cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) environment
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor team members

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Able to lift/lower up to 55 pounds . W orking in high elevations (above 6 feet) .
  • R eaching , standing , walking , stooping , and repetitive motion .
  • Able to wear safety PPE ( i.e. h ard hat, body harness, goggles, face shield) .
  • Able to work within full clean room environments with appropriate gowning (Grades A, B, C, and D).
  • Workers may be exposed to Electromagnetic Fields within this position.

Work Location Assignment: On Premise
The salary for this position ranges from $21.05 to $35.08 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
