This job is responsible for analyzing the day-to-day issues, researching, and providing resolution for various issues identified within a business unit. Key responsibilities include supporting defined procedures, routine analytics, and creating reports and completing exception processing. Responsible for any of the following tasks and specific assignments may vary in order to achieve proper segregation of responsibilities:
- Loan system account reconciliation of LIQ
- Responsible for the day-to-day analysis, research and resolution of varied problems
- Performing limited variance analysis at the request of finance partners
- Posting of transactions to customer accounts
- monitoring and clearing items rejected from systems and automated processes
- Performing maintenance to customer accounts
- Preparing and processing general ledger entries
- Monitoring ticklers and taking appropriate action
- Inputting and balancing batch work to the loan system
- Provide specialized processing support
- Answering Research Inquiry Line to assist business partners with issues and providing prompt service for resolution.
- May assist in designing, documenting, implementing, and monitoring of new products/processes
- Provides guidance to associates within own unit regarding procedural, technical and/or operational changes
- Specific Technical and Leadership Skills Required:
- Some understanding of credit structures, documentation and loan accounting principles. Excellent phone and analytical skills. Effective prioritization of multiple tasks, balancing quality and productivity. PC literate – Word, Excel
Required Skills:
- Understanding of credit structures, documentation and loan accounting principles
- Knowledge of AFS Loan System and/or Loan IQ, BOSS, INTERACT, FDES, BFT, EDR, Content Navigator, Service Request, Global Process Analytics (GPA) and various other research systems.
- Full working knowledge of operations environment acquired through experience in a similar area.
