About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Onboarding Integration Leader to define and execute the strategy that elevates the onboarding experience for Financial Advisor recruits through a streamlined pre-hire process, structured investment management planning, and scalable training programs.
This leader will oversee a centralized team responsible for supporting advisor recruits from offer acceptance through onboarding readiness. The role serves as the connective link across pre-hire onboarding, training, product mapping, investment management planning, and operational readiness functions to ensure a consistent, repeatable, and high-quality advisor onboarding experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with demonstrated success designing, implementing, and optimizing complex processes. This individual will build organizational structure, drive accountability, establish performance standards, and create scalable programs that improve operational effectiveness and advisor readiness.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead a geographically dispersed team responsible for advisor onboarding readiness, pre-hire coordination, product mapping, investment management planning, and training delivery.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable onboarding processes that support a seamless advisor recruiting and integration experience.
  • Establish repeatable operational frameworks, governance structures, performance metrics, and success measures to ensure consistency across the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Oversee the pre-hire onboarding function, ensuring key milestones, stakeholder coordination, and advisor preparation activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead the product mapping and investment management planning functions to ensure recruits receive a comprehensive view of available solutions and capabilities before joining the firm.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy that enhances the effectiveness, readiness, and expertise of the transition and onboarding support teams.
  • Assess organizational and training gaps and implement structured learning programs, playbooks, tools, and resources that support continuous improvement.
  • Partner with divisional leadership, recruiting, transition management, operations, and business partners to improve the advisor onboarding experience and ensure effective handoffs across teams.
  • Drive performance management processes, establish accountability standards, and provide coaching and development to team members.
  • Leverage data, reporting, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities, measure outcomes, and drive strategic enhancements.
  • Influence organizational change by building sustainable processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and advisor satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, collaboration, and customer-focused execution.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years Management or leadership experience

  • Experience building, redesigning, or optimizing operational processes within a complex organization.
  • Proven ability to create scalable, repeatable frameworks that improve efficiency, consistency, and service delivery.
  • Leadership experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience developing training programs, onboarding frameworks, learning strategies, or workforce development initiatives.
  • Strong performance management, coaching, and employee development experience.
  • Experience identifying operational gaps and implementing sustainable process improvements.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational change.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Financial services, wealth management, advisor onboarding, recruiting, or transition experience.
  • Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, Agile, or comparable process improvement certification.
Job Expectations:
  • Up to 20% travel.
  • Ability to work across multiple Wells Fargo locations and support nationally distributed teams.
