Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

Join BILL as a New Business Account Executive on our Accounting Channel (AC) sales team, selling directly into small accounting and wealth management firms that are new to BILL. Our AC New Business team owns the earliest and highest-leverage stage of the firm lifecycle: the moment a firm is actively evaluating tools, setting up client workflows, and deciding what "normal" looks like. What we establish here shapes how hundreds of thousands of SMBs manage their finances for years to come.

In this role, you will run a full sales cycle from prospecting through close, owning net-new firm acquisition while also introducing Spend and Expense (S&E) at the point of onboarding. Getting firms onto S&E early is not an add-on motion: it becomes woven into how they onboard and manage clients, creating structural stickiness that makes the firm relationship more durable and more valuable over time. You will partner closely with Account Managers to be a visible, active presence in firm relationships, deliver product demos to firm end clients, and drive your own pipeline to close.

Responsibilities:

  • Own a full-cycle sales motion from prospecting through close for net-new accounting and wealth management firms
  • Introduce and sell Spend and Expense at the point of new firm onboarding, building early product adoption before the firm transitions to Managed
  • Conduct outbound outreach into end clients within assigned firm portfolios, sourcing and closing cross-sell opportunities independently
  • Deliver product demos for S&E to firm end clients, owning follow-up and advancing opportunities to sign-on
  • Build and manage your pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold calling, discovery, demos, and lead conversion
  • Sell consultatively by uncovering pain points and connecting BILL's solutions to the firm's workflow and their clients' business needs
  • Maintain accurate account, pipeline, and forecast data in CRM, and partner with Account Managers while remaining accountable to your own quota and activity metrics

We'd love to chat if you have:

  • 2+ years of software, SaaS, or tech sales experience in a high-volume, high-velocity inside sales or SMB environment
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a net-new business role, with strong outbound prospecting skills and comfort cold calling
  • Experience running a full sales cycle, including discovery, demos, objection handling, negotiation, and close
  • Strong communication skills and a consultative selling style, with the ability to explain business value clearly across multiple stakeholders
  • Solid CRM hygiene, organization, and time management, with the ability to manage a high volume of opportunities simultaneously
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where adaptability and independent judgment matter

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with selling into accounting firms, wealth management firms, or financial services SMBs
  • Experience with a co-sell or embedded sales motion alongside a relationship management or account management team
