About the Role

We are looking for an Network Infrastructure Admin II who is proficient with networking/security technologies, servers, storage array and who flourishes in high-demand environments. Network  Infrastructure Admins will be working primarily across enterprise data center environments across all of Bullhorn's global on-prem and cloud data centers, as well as our global office locations.  Bullhorn's Technical Operations team is responsible for maintaining the health and stability of the production systems and networks, supporting our products as well as all of our corporate office locations.

Successful Network Infrastructure Admins should have good communication and collaboration skills, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ideal candidates will also have experience with administration and implementation of Cisco networks, understanding of routing protocols and network concepts. Experience with Cisco NX/IOS and Palo Alto firewalls along with enterprise infrastructure, public cloud infrastructure as a service technologies, understanding of technical documentation, implementation and infrastructure architecture.

Network Infrastructure Admin II Responsibilities:

  • SME for  day to day alerting for all hardware failure related tickets.

  • Utilize your strong network troubleshooting skills to maintain Bullhorn’s network uptime SLA and security framework.

  • Working with vendors on new turn-ups, maintenance, or trouble isolation and Vendor RMA management.

  • Participate in the planning and coordination of new infrastructure deployments and enhancement projects.

  • Ensure that datacenter facilities are maintained to a high standard and all necessary maintenance is scheduled and carried out in a timely manner.

  • Ensuring 24/7 availability of the Bullhorn production application environments.

  • Participate in on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.

  • Providing direct support to system, network administrators / engineers and technical project managers.

  • Network administration of Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco NX/ IOS switches, routers, and wireless controllers/APs

  • Administration of network solutions supporting a SaaS environment within on-prem and cloud datacenters

  • Experience with AWS/Azure networking (VPC design, load balancing, DNS, etc.)

  • Maintaining datacenter and office inventory including DC spares depot
     

Position Requirements:

  •  2+ years hardware, administration and software troubleshooting experience in a data center or large enterprise office environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 3+ years network engineering/administration experience in a datacenter or large enterprise office environment

  • 1+ years experience working with IGP and EGP routing protocols

  • Strong understanding of L2/L3 technologies

  • You have Linux (Redhat/CentOS, Debian) and Windows server administration skills.

  • Some periodic travel will be required

  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation/after-hours maintenance

  • You have previous experience in a SaaS and/or high volume workload environment preferred. 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience using Solarwinds NPM

  • Have proven network engineering experience in AWS/Azure clouds

  • CCNA certification and/or AWS

  • Experience working with data center management software

  • Experience working with Pure Storage solutions

  • Knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies (iSCSI, FCP, CIFS, NFS, etc)

  • Experience working with Palo Alto Firewalls

  • Experience working in SDDC technologies
