QUALIFICATIONS:


· Secret Security clearance

· 6+ years minimum experience in Network Engineering

· Associate’s degree in information technology or related field

· Vendor Associate or higher-level network certification

· Experience with network engineering and design

· Experience with network operations and site integration

· Other industry product experience and certifications preferred.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What is the Government Services Team and why join?

Our Government Services team provides cleared resources with a global reach to federal civilian, Department of Defense (DoD), and intelligence community markets. We excel at delivering innovative, operationally ready, and cost-effective IT solutions that accelerate the interoperability and resiliency of mission-critical systems.

What will you be doing?

WWT is seeking a Network Engineer to support our Government Services team located in multiple locations within the US. The customer locations would include Scott AFB, IL; Hill AFB, UT; Fort Meade, MD. This position will focus on Engineering and design while also supporting Tier 1-2 network escalations within a customer’s global network environment and integration field teams.


REQURIEMENTS:

· Assist and coordinate new implementations of the Network stack, and assist the installation of network equipment with partners, clients, and relevant stakeholders

· Strong technical expertise in service provider and Enterprise Routing and Optical is required

· In-depth knowledge of designing multi-vendor complex Routing and Switching networks

· Ability to troubleshoot large enterprise networks

· Strong knowledge of service provider network methods, protocols and technologies such as:

o Routing [Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)/Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)/(Multi‐Protocol (MP)‐BGP/Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)/Virtual Private Network (VPN)/Multicast/ Policy Based Routing (PBR)]

· Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) [Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4), Internet Protocol version 6n(IPv6), User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Layer 1nthrough Layer 7 (L1‐L7), Internet Protocol Security (IPSEC), High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE)]

· Experience in team concepts and driving network designs

· Ability to explain technical concepts, give clients guidance and vision about the solution

· Experience with network topology modeling analysis

· Forward thinking with technology solutions like automation and SD-WAN

· Perform market research, develop Bills of Materials for Government consumption. Ability to work independently, self-starter required

· Proven experience working with Network Management and Analysis tools

· Perform analysis of each new infrastructure design, and inform all stakeholders of the applicable risks

· Provide technical input on the Networking needs of all software and hardware used in the customer's environment, which includes, in part, products by Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Ciena, Thales, etc., and the integration of new Networking products

· Provide secure, reliable, and high performing configurations of the Network environments

· Document Network architecture, including network port connectivity, and design choices of the associated applications (Low Level Design, High Level Design)

· Provide technical guidance and leadership to other network Engineers within the team
