We are seeking a technically skilled engineer to deliver integrated Medicare Advantage risk adjustment solutions that leverage data and technology to empower members, providers, and Humana. This role requires collaborating with high-performing teams including business stakeholders and engineers, to build scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions in Prospective risk adjustment initiatives related to In-Home Wellness Assessments (IHWA) and Provider Programs with a specific focus on .NET web and Cloud-based technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using.NET 4.8
- Create, configure, and maintain robust Azure CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications, including automated builds, tests, and deployments to various environments
- Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and engineers to assess migration strategies, propose solutions for legacy services, and ensure detailed documentation and best practices in migration
- Implement hybrid cloud solutions, utilizing automation, orchestration, and integration of infrastructure services across multiple clouds technologies
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL stored procedures and database schemas
- Utilize Databricks platform and notebooks for big data processing, ETL jobs, and advanced analytics with Python/SQL
- Research, adopt, and implement Cloud 3.0 technologies for data management, security, and distributed computing
- Maintain technical documentation and provide ongoing mentoring and training to team members.
- Work with Business Intelligence and Software engineers to ensure code is optimized for performance and the right tools are being used for the right jobs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 or more years of technical experience in data analysis and web application development
- Proven expertise in migrating complex .NET applications to newer frameworks (preferably to .NET 8 or above) in large enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps (YAML and classic) to automate deployments, configure test gates, and troubleshoot Azure Pipelines.
- Ability to analyze data to solve a wide variety of business problems, design and develop appropriate data movement and orchestration tools and code to support strategic direction.
- Ability to develop modular, reusable code and tools.
- Experience working with agile delivery teams, perform unit and integration testing, and ensure code quality via version control and code reviews
- Strong SQL database design, optimization, and ETL support skills.
- Strong understanding of star schema, snowflake schema, data architecture and design principles.
- Experience working in the multiple cloud ecosystem (ADLS/Databricks/ADF/ASA, Snowflake) or other cloud-based platforms.
- Thoroughly test and clearly document code.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms.
- Team player, with the ability to mentor others to maximize collaboration.
- Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Checkmarx SCA and SAST Scans
- Experience with test management platform Tricentis qTest
- Experience with secret management leveraging HashiCorp
- Experience navigating Humana compliance and security within EIP and EA.
- Previous experience with and knowledge around the Risk Adjustment programs: IHWA and Provider Programs.
- CMS regulations and guidelines experience supporting timely and accurate risk adjustment submissions
- Broad understanding of our businesses and connectedness to key Humana constituent areas.
- Knowledge of Humana's internal policies, procedures, and systems.
