The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy and lead the future of workforce capability in our North America HUB for Transformers. As the Training Program Leader, you will drive strategic alignment, governance, and best practices across multiple sites, ensuring our training systems scale with rapid organizational growth. This role is pivotal in shaping operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Define and implement training strategies aligned with HUB and product line objectives.

  • Ensure governance and compliance with training standards across all sites.

  • Audit site training systems to assess maturity and identify improvements.

  • Coach and mentor site training leaders to build capability and resilience.

  • Collaborate with HUB managers and stakeholders for operational alignment.

  • Drive continuous improvement using lean principles and ITM tools.

  • Monitor KPIs and report on training effectiveness and workforce development.

  • Conduct on-site assessments and participate in monthly operations reviews.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.

  • Minimum 8 years in training leadership roles, including multi-site responsibility.

  • Hands-on experience with lean management systems.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and critical-to-quality standards.

  • Proven ability to lead change and foster collaboration across diverse teams.

  • Preferred: Professional certifications (CPTD, CPLP), ISO 9001 familiarity, LMS expertise.
