POSITION SUMMARY:
The MRO Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for maintaining the MRO tool crib. This includes processing orders, receipts, putting items away, charging items out, and cycle counting. This job will require the use of a computer, lifting of parts and utilizing material handling equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to teamwork.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
- Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction
- Exceptional ability to work with others; build and maintain positive employee relations
- Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, correspondence, instructions, procedures and guidelines.
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers and customers.
- Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Able to work flexible hours and overtime
DUTIES:
- Review of reports and verification of product removed from the tool crib
- Run negative balance report and investigate issues
- Verify product to packing slip, print labels, put items away, and receive in CMS all incoming product
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the tool crib
- Maintain MRO crib and ensure all product is ordered and stocked per requirements
- Run MRP and process orders to suppliers
- Monitor delivery performance for suppliers
- Follow up on outstanding orders, expedite as necessary
- Run reports, analyze and distribute to management for items issued from tool crib
- Co-ordinate, control and follow-up all goods returned for credit, repair or replacement.
- Plan and execute the cycle count process
- Maintain document control of purchase orders, assist purchasing with filing
- Assist with updating of production purchase orders as needed
- Work with accounting to understand price and delivery discrepancies
- Maintain up to date MRO purchasing files.
