Leidos Health & Services Sector is seeking a Mid-Level Java/Angular Full Stack Software Developer to support mission-critical federal health enterprise systems that make a real impact.

 

This is not a back-end-only Java role. We are looking for a true Full Stack Developer who enjoys working across the entire application stack, from designing responsive user interfaces to developing robust Java services and writing complex SQL queries that power enterprise applications.

 

If you're someone who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, writing clean code, collaborating with other engineers, and owning features from front-end through database, we'd love to hear from you.

 

This position is 100% remote

Candidate MUST:

Be a U.S. Citizen or a US Person (Permanent Resident) with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Be located in the United States currently for the current three (3) consecutive years within the last five (5) years and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

What You'll Do

 

As part of an Agile Scrum team, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java, Spring, Angular, Bootstrap, REST, and SQL.

  • Build responsive front-end applications while developing scalable back-end services.

  • Write, optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain complex SQL queries and database objects.

  • Collaborate with architects, DBAs, analysts, testers, and customers throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.

  • Develop secure, maintainable, scalable code following modern software engineering best practices.

  • Contribute to automated testing, continuous integration, and ongoing application improvements.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 4+ years of experience

Strong experience developing applications with the following:

Java 8+

Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring JDBC)

SQL

Angular

Typescript/Javascript

Bootstrap

REST

HTML5

CSS3

  • You must be comfortable writing, debugging, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.

  • Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL is desirable.

  • Experience with object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and data structures.

  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

  • Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Vite), test-driven development, and CI/CD practices.

  • Knowledge of secure software development and common web application vulnerabilities.

  • Experience with Gradle and Git.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
