Design, implement, govern, and support enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions. Own platform architecture, ALM, environment and DLP policies, CoE governance, and integrations with Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party systems. Build Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot-driven solutions using Dataverse, implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor reliability, troubleshoot production issues, and enable citizen developers while enforcing security and compliance.
The Power Platform Engineer is accountable for designing, implementing, and supporting Blue Mantis’ Power Platform solutions to enable scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade automation and application development. This role serves as the technical authority for Power Platform architecture, governance, and integration, ensuring solutions align to enterprise standards, security requirements, and operational best practices.
This role owns platform outcomes, not just solution delivery. The Power Platform Engineer works closely with internal stakeholders and customer teams to deliver automation, AI-driven solutions, and application capabilities while ensuring platform consistency, reliability, and governed self-service adoption.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Engineering & Governance (Primary Accountability)
- Own the architecture, configuration, and governance of the Power Platform environment.
- Ensure proper management of environments, including managed environments and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
- Define and enforce Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) standards across all solutions.
- Implement governance frameworks using the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise security, compliance, and data governance standards.
Application Development & Automation
- Design and build Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Copilot-based solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop scalable solutions leveraging Dataverse and enterprise data models.
- Enable AI-driven capabilities using Copilot Studio and AI Builder where appropriate.
Integration & Platform Delivery
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and third-party systems using APIs and connectors.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies aligned to DevOps best practices.
- Manage solution packaging, releases, and promotion across multiple environments.
Operational Support & Reliability
- Monitor performance, scalability, and reliability of deployed applications and automation solutions.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for production issues within the Power Platform environment.
Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Enable citizen developers through guided self-service development while maintaining governance guardrails.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
3–7+ years of experience in application development, automation, or platform engineering roles.
Hands-on experience delivering solutions within Microsoft Power Platform environments.
Platform & Technical Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.
Understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems.
Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), environment management, and security roles.
Proficiency in data modeling, API integrations, and custom connectors.
Hands-on experience delivering solutions within Microsoft Power Platform environments.
