JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Media Analyst supports media measurement, performance analysis, operational excellence, and audience strategy across the Driven Brands portfolio. This role partners closely with brand and media teams, agency partners, Analytics, CRM, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure media investments are measured accurately, performance insights are actionable, and best practices are consistently applied across brands.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and curious, with a strong understanding of digital media, measurement, audience performance, and marketing technology.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Analysis & MeasurementAnalyze media, audience, and channel performance across brands to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Support development of recurring and ad hoc reporting, business reviews, and performance narratives.
Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
Partner with Analytics to support KPI development, reporting methodologies, measurement frameworks, and test-and-learn initiatives.
Investigate performance changes and help answer critical business questions around what happened and why.
Validate media data across agency reporting, dashboards, platform reporting, and internal data sources.
Identify and resolve reporting discrepancies, tracking issues, and measurement gaps.
Support tagging, tracking, and attribution governance across media initiatives.
Partner with Analytics, Web, CRM, and agency teams to improve data quality and measurement consistency.
Maintain reporting standards, documentation, and operational processes that support accurate media measurement and benchmarking.
Analyze audience performance and contribute insights that inform audience strategy development.
Support audience testing and evaluation of first-party data activation strategies.
Document audience learnings, performance trends, and best practices.
Help identify opportunities to scale successful approaches across brands.
Support development and adoption of portfolio-wide standards for audience activation, reporting, and operations.
Review agency reporting, analyses, and recommendations for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Support performance reviews, testing roadmaps, and measurement initiatives.
Partner with Brand, Media, Analytics, CRM, Web, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on reporting, measurement, and audience initiatives.
Surface significant risks, data issues, opportunities, and learnings to leadership.
Contribute to portfolio-level reporting, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement efforts.
3-5 years of experience in paid media, media analytics, marketing analytics, performance marketing, or digital marketing.
Strong understanding of paid media channels, including Search, Social, Programmatic, Video, Traditional and Emerging Media.
Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), campaign tagging frameworks, and digital measurement implementation.
Knowledge of attribution, conversion tracking, pixels, UTM governance, and media measurement best practices.
Experience working with agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting platforms.
Experience with audience analysis, CRM data, CDPs, or first-party data activation.
Experience supporting testing, incrementality, attribution, or measurement initiatives.
Experience in a portfolio brand or franchise environment.
Agency experience or experience supporting agency-managed media programs.
