Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager, Forecasting & Reporting to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead the development and refinement of predictive models to analyze subscriber behavior, market trends, and retention strategies. You will be responsible for data accuracy, performance analytics, and strategic insights that drive informed business decisions. This role requires collaboration with key stakeholders across marketing, strategy, and sales to optimize acquisition and retention strategies.
As Marketing Analytics Manager, Forecasting & Reporting, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and refine models to forecast subscriber behavior, including acquisition, churn, and overall market trends
- Conduct scenario analysis to predict the impact of different marketing strategies and external factors on subscriber growth and retention
- Continuously refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and relevance, incorporating new data and methodologies as needed
- Ensure data quality by working closely with data management teams, implementing best practices for tracking and reporting
- Provide actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions
- Manage the tracking, reporting, and analysis of marketing activities, providing leadership on developing automation tools and dashboards
- Design, build and support custom reporting and analysis dashboards
- Analyze external and internal customer data using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (PowerBI/Looker/etc.), and statistical analysis tools
- Create PowerPoint presentations or other visual aids to provide market and consumer insights to other marketing and sales departments
- Advise other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand, product development) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience analyzing and forecasting direct to consumer or SMB subscription services such as internet, wireless, insurance, financial services, SAAS, etc.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets, build models, and generate accurate forecasts
- Strong business acumen with the ability to find insights in data
- Experience communicating analytic findings and implications to executive audiences
- 5+ years’ experience with critical analytical tools such as Excel, BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, etc.
