In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department, ensuring alignment with short-term goals.

- Solicit input, explain complex concepts, and persuade others to adopt a point of view, building alignment across manufacturing assets.
- Own human performance event investigations as Lead Investigator, making autonomous decisions with minor impact and escalating significant decisions.
- Form, lead, and facilitate cross-functional teams to execute key processes, ensuring accountability for the production activities of numerous Pfizer products.
- Assist with short-range and long-range planning, including scheduling operations and staff, and coordinating facilities shutdowns and preventive maintenance.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as Associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of vaccine or biotechnology product manufacturing in a cGMP environment. Including a working knowledge of fermentation, purification, centrifugation, homogenization, Ultrafiltration and Diafiltration (UF/DF), aseptic techniques and other filtration processes.
- Optimize resources to maximize production and ensure quality and safety standards.
- A robust grasp of industry knowledge and business operations, such as financial basics, enterprise systems like payroll and inventory management
- Proficiency in administrative, managerial, and technical report writing skills
- Experience in people management in pharma environment
- Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- Master's degree coupled with relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Certifications in Continuous Improvement or Project Management
- Familiarity with Local Environmental Health and Safety standards
- Maintains accurate tracking records and provides timely feedback to Manager regarding status of costs in their area relating to overtime and waste.
- Partners with other departments to implement cost improvement projects (i.e., yield and/or productivity improvements.)
