What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • BS/MS in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental), environmental science, or related field—or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of air quality/compliance consulting experience (7+ years preferred).

  • Proven expertise in Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, and MACT compliance.

  • Strong business development skills with a track record of securing large contracts.

  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building abilities.

  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.

  • Established relationships with regulatory authorities and major industrial clients in the Midwest/Southeast.

  • Recognized technical reputation in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Grow: Drive strategic expansion of ERM’s air quality services and client base in the Midwest, focusing on pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and technology sectors.

  • Develop Business: Identify new opportunities, craft winning proposals, and build lasting client partnerships.

  • Deliver Expertise: Oversee complex air permitting and compliance programs, including NSR, PSD, Title V, NESHAP MACT, EPCRA, and dispersion modeling.

  • Mentor and Collaborate: Guide junior staff, ensure quality deliverables, and work with ERM’s global air quality team to share best practices and deliver exceptional results.

  • Innovate for Impact: Support ERM’s global strategy by contributing to cutting-edge climate and air quality solutions.
