Job SummaryThe Manager, US Strategy & Business Planning role will support the strategy and data analytics activities for the Oncology biosimilar products. The individual should have a good working knowledge and understanding of the biosimilars market and particularly in the oncology space. The individual will also support in data analytics related to biosimilar marketing Veeva CRM needs and capabilities. The individual will also support efforts in the commercial financial assessment of new oncology business opportunities (acquisitions / in-licensing) as well as support strategic decision making for go-to-market strategy, market insights, and market/customer segmentation. The incumbent is expected to work with cross-functional teams across the organization.
This is a hybrid position, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite in the Lake Zurich, Illinois office 3 days a week.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 per year
Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 10% of the base salary. - Data owner on all internal and external biosimilars data sources and platforms. Maintain and refresh data sets for the oncology team monthly (IQVIA DDDMD, MMIT, PriceRx, etc.)
- Manage Qlik steams and applications for Biosimilar team and work closely with cross functional team on loading and maintenance.
- Manage Veeva CRM data loads and potential integration to the CDP platform, implement connections to Qlik dashboards.
- Assist and collaborate with commercial operations on establishing and enhancing the oncology launch performance tracker with the focus on pre-launch and post-launch metrics.
- Support market analysis activities, identifying key segment value drivers, growth opportunities, product positioning & customer segmentation/targeting. Provide explanations of variance based on established targets.
- Support the team in competitive analysis and launch readiness activities
- Support the forecasting process with established tools like the BAT, GTN, CMS ASP Models for the oncology portfolio. Lead the establishment of contract base forecasting.
- Assist in analytics related to biosimilar CRM / digital marketing needs and capabilities.
- Support oncology sales meetings planning and execution from a data analytics and presentation side.
- All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy and Quality Management System as per your roles and responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance/accounting field required. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical work experience with 3+ years managing a portfolio of projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong ability to think analytically, execute to a goal/vision, influence, problem solve, and impact/drive change in a heavily matrixed global environment.
- Demonstrates independence and must be self-driven.
- Work with cross functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Must be able to think innovatively and strategically and have a desire for learning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, SAP, Qlik, and TM1.
- Ability to travel, including international travel.
