This role involves str a tegic pl a nning, project m a n a gement, a nd ensuring the execution of technic a l oper a tions best pr a ctices to enh a nce productivity a nd efficiency , ensuring th a t the oper a tion run smoothly. This role provides direction a nd le a dership for the technic a l oper a tions te a ms within the Focus F a ctory to a chieve perform a nce, compl i a n ce a nd effectiveness. The scope i nclude s but is not limited to process a nd v a lid a tion engineering a s well a s tr a dition a l technic a l services responsibilities (investig a tion support, ch a nge control support, etc ) .
This role requires strong le a dership in m a n a ging multiple responsibilities, coordin a ting with cross-function a l te a ms, a nd m a int a ining a high level of oper a tion a l excellence to drive continuous improvement a nd innov a tion .

This position will report d irectly to the Sr. M a n a ger, M a nuf a cturing Technology, within a Focus F a ctory.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• R esponsible for m a n a ging the technic a l oper a tions te a m a nd projects within the focus f a ctory.

• Support d a y-to-d a y oper a tions within the Focus F a ctory to minimize downtime a nd m a ximize output

• Drive continuous improvement initi a tives a nd foster a culture of innov a tion.

• Execute a nd implement technic a l str a tegies to improve oper a tion a l efficiency.

• Coll a bor a te with Focus F a ctory te a ms to ensure a lignment a nd support for technic a l initi a tives.

• Work closely with other functions to ensure a lignment of a ctivities to the KPIs , metrics a nd over a ll go a ls of the Focus F a ctory.

• Responsible for the on-time completion of technic a l oper a tions a ctivities within the focus f a ctory including but not limited to cycle development, v a lid a tion s (including routine requ a lific a tion, A septic Process Simul a tions, Smoke Studies, etc ) , PMs, C A P A s, tr a ining, Ch a nge Controls.

• Oversee the reli a bility a nd optimiz a tion of equipment a nd systems.

• Eng a ge with qu a lity a ssur a nce, qu a lity control, oper a tions, supply ch a in a nd regul a tory dep a rtments to ensure the sites s a fety, m a nuf a cturing needs, regul a tory st a nd a rds a nd comp a ny policies a re met.

• Provide technic a l guid a nce a nd support to oper a tions a nd engineering te a ms.

• Ensure engineering a ctivities within the Focus F a ctory a re a ligned to Good Engineering Pr a ctices, Pfizer a nd Industry St a nd a rds through; this is a chieved through close coll a bor a tion with the Site Technology & L a unch Center of Excellence ( CoE )

PRE FERRED QU A LIFIC A TIONS

• M a ster's degree in engineering or a rel a ted field.

• Experience in the ph a rm a ceutic a l or m a nuf a cturing industry .

• Certific a tion in project m a n a gement (e.g., PMP ).

• F a mili a rity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Le a n, Six Sigm a ).

• Prior experience in a high regul a ted ph a rm a ceutic a l or biotech m a nuf a cturing environment.

• A bility to foster te a mwork a nd colle a gue development

• Competence in d a t a a n a lysis a nd the development of insights

• Strong le a dership a nd te a m-building skills

NON- ST A ND A RD WORK SCHEDULE , TR A VEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

• 1st shift. M a y require working non-st a nd a rd hours or shifts to support 24/7 oper a tions.

• Tr a vel to different sites or loc a tions m a y be necess a ry to ensure a lignment a nd support for engineering projects.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $112 700,00 to $187 800,00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15,0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
