Position Purpose:
The Manager, Talent Assessments is an internal expert in designing, validating, and managing employee assessments for selection and development. This role partners closely with HR and business leaders to deliver innovative, practical, legally defensible, and data-driven assessment solutions aligned to organizational talent strategies.
As a key member of the Assessment Team, this role influences high-impact assessment programs, applies rigorous job, skill, and competency analysis, and leverages advanced analytics. The Manager stays current on the evolving external assessment landscape—including generative AI, skills-based practices, and employment law—to ensure assessment tools are modern, effective, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- 30% - Assessment Design, Development & Research - Design, validate, and manage enterprise-level selection and development assessments. Conduct job, skill, and competency analyses and apply advanced statistical methods to deliver modern, engaging, and business-aligned solutions.
- 10% - Coaching - Provide guidance and support to team members, contribute expertise to shared projects, and help connect resources to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- 20% - Project Management and Administration - Plan and manage assessment programs and project timelines, oversee vendor relationships, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful delivery.
- 30% - Strategic Consulting and Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with business and HR leaders to shape talent initiatives and assessment priorities. Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations that support informed decisions and measurable business outcomes.
- 10% - Subject Matter Expert - Serve as a trusted advisor to HR partners, providing guidance on selection, assessment, measurement, evaluation, leadership, change management, and metrics. Stay current on emerging assessment trends, AI applications, and compliance requirements.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Applied Psychology or related field
- 5+ years’ work experience in the areas of selection and assessment, organizational development, and change management
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Preferred Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a doctoral program in a field related to the job.
