The Opportunity
The Product Management Associate is responsible for translating product vision, customer needs, and business objectives into clearly defined, actionable features that enable Agile teams to deliver meaningful outcomes. Supporting the Product Manager within the API Data Exchange ART, this role helps ensure that solutions are desirable for customers, feasible for delivery teams, and aligned with MetLife's product strategy and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the elaboration of product features by breaking down product vision, ideas, and epics into clearly defined, actionable features.
Create detailed feature descriptions, benefit hypotheses, and acceptance criteria aligned to customer strategy, user experience, and business objectives.
Act as a business advocate with technology partners, liaising with agile teams to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery.
Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and subject matter experts to align features with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Ensure timely collection and delivery of documentation required for commercial and operational readiness.
Provide clarity on business rules, dependencies, and risks, proactively identifying issues and driving the right conversations to resolution.
Support user experience quality by participating in reviews and demos to ensure delivered solutions meet intended outcomes.
Coordinate across technology, product, business, and operations partners to manage expectations and delivery timelines.

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 2-4 years of Group Benefits experience in Operations, Product, Data or IT roles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to synthesize multiple inputs into clear, actionable detail for delivery teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and managing competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a scaled Agile environment supporting multiple teams within a shared product or ART.
- Familiarity with end-to-end customer journeys and cross-platform or integration-heavy solutions.
- Experience partnering across business, operations, and technology in a matrixed environment.
- Strong facilitation and relationship-management skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.
