As a Product Design Manager, you will be at the forefront of designing and shaping the future of trading and risk tooling. You'll collaborate with Traders, Product, Data Science and Engineers to build innovative, user-centric solutions that drive real-time decision-making and profitability. You will get the chance to solve complex problems and turn data into intuitive, high impact tools.
What you'll do as a Product Design Manager

  • Lead the end-to-end design strategy for trading and risk management tools, ensuring intuitive, data-driven, and scalable solutions.
  • Work closely with trading, data science, risk and engineering teams to identify pain points and opportunities to streamline workflows.
  • Develop and prioritize a product design roadmap focused on efficiency, automation, and risk optimization within sportsbook trading operations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers fostering a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that translate complex data and risk models into actionable, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ensure seamless integration of data science models and analytics into trading tools, improving trader decision-making and market efficiency.
  • Drive usability testing and feedback loops, ensuring designs align with trader needs and enhance operational workflows.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, trading strategies, and risk modeling advancements, shaping how our tools evolve to maintain a competitive edge.


What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a focus on trading, financial, or risk management tools.
  • Understanding of sportsbook trading and risk operations - including liability management, bet flow analysis, and pricing models.
  • Experience designing data-dense interfaces that turn complex risk analytics into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Traders, Engineers, and Data Scientists to define and execute a design vision.
  • Proficiency in Figma with experience building interactive prototypes.
  • Strong systems thinking and information architecture skills, ensuring scalable and intuitive solutions.
  • Passion for sports betting, trading strategy, and data visualization, with a deep appreciation for the speed and precision required in trading environments.

Join Our Team
We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 148,000.00 USD - 185,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
