Job Summary:
Independence American Insurance Company (IAIC) is seeking a Manager, Operations Business Processes to drive operational excellence by overseeing day-to-day operations and optimizing business workflows. In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain insurance administration requirements while ensuring high levels of service quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategies that enhance efficiency, profitability, and overall business performance. Additionally, you will foster effective communication and partnerships across IAIC and its MGAs to support continuous operational improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

Assess and analyze the organization’s existing processes, identifying areas for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure workflow alignment and synergy, iterating as necessary.

Develop process and procedural improvement recommendations based on data and observations to drive operational efficiency, performance, and profitability.

Implement and maintain standard operating procedures, ensuring proper documentation and alignment across teams.

Oversight of the implementation meetings and communication channels for new products, product updates, and regulatory changes for each administrator.

May manage a team of operations analysts.
-
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of equivalent work experience

7+ years insurance experience, preferably in compliance, claims, or product

Experience working within an MGA business model

Proven leadership and team management skills

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels within the organization

Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented

Ability to manage multiple initiatives and tasks simultaneously
