How You'll Make an Impact
- Develops a disciplined, detailed and structured team to drive a high-performance culture and environment
- Provides engineering support and direction for new or existing technologies and current operational initiatives
- Ensures required reports are timely, accurate and complete
- Provides technical guidance and assistance as required for problem resolution
- Oversees the daily activities of Network Services and performs direct supervision of team members, including performance reviews, career development, and staffing; work with staff to ensure that individual team metrics and goals are being met
- Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations and follows company policy
- Establishes positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or related work experience
- Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E, etc.)
Experience
- 6+ years of Network Operations and/or Implementation experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner with all levels of management and company personnel

- Knowledge and experience with Network and Element Management tools
- Knowledge of cable, voice and data communications networks, and associated elements
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN design and operations, TCP/IP and SNMP, and HFC networks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- ISC2 CISSP certification
Skills
- 5+ years leading operations or security teams
- Experience with project management methodologies and delivery frameworks
- Vulnerability management program oversight, including tracking, reporting, and remediation prioritization
- Experience coordinating with Corporate Risk Management, Software Review Committees, or similar governance bodies
- Experience creating and briefing executive summaries for senior leadership
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk or similar) for log aggregation and threat detection
- Incident response and forensic investigation experience
- Compliance framework experience (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Familiarity with network security controls including firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, MFA, and jump hosts
Skills
- Understanding of threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to translate technical security risks into business impact for non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities and delegate effectively across multiple workstreams
- Ability to develop and track KPIs/metrics for security operations performance
- Ability to develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
- Proficiency with MS365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate)
