As a Manager, Marketing Research you will manage external research consultants and lead vendors to deliver against a highly strategic set of marketing research objectives. You'll work proactively across the organization to identify, champion and act on research and information needs. WHAT OUR MANAGER, MARKETING RESEARCH ENJOY MOST

  • Efficiently and effectively managing appropriate partnerships, vendors, contractors, consultants while working collaboratively with internal teams on a variety of research projects.
  • Keeping abreast and reporting on key industry and product trends
    Supporting various teams across Charter by providing overviews of the competitive environment.
  • Managing Charter customer research panel, including replenishment, survey programming and analysis of results.
  • Managing multiple primary research projects, including advertising testing, product usability, and satisfaction and brand health trackers.
  • Creating a bi-weekly research newsletter that delivers key industry and consumer observations to a variety of internal clients.
  • Creating and maintaining a dashboard of leading customer attitudinal performance indicators.


You'll actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience through extensive research design, primary and secondary research reporting, and research project management. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Project management experience 3+ years. Marketing Research experience 5+ years.
    Education: Bachelor's degree in Research, Marketing, Business, Management or related field
  • Technical skills: Understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; proficient in other desktop applications. Interpreting and summarizing secondary data (e.g. Forrester, Mintel, etc.).
  • Skills: Resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented
  • Abilities: Can read, write, speak and understand English. Can analyze and interpret data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise. Can identify research necessary to address a multitude of business needs. Can manage multiple projects at one time and handle shifting priorities
  • Travel ability: Office environment. Light to moderate travel required (10-20%)
