The Manager of the Instructional Design Team will oversee the development and implementation of high-quality instructional materials and programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in instructional design, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
What you will do:
* Lead and manage a team of instructional designers to develop engaging and effective learning materials.
* Oversee the design, development, and evaluation of instructional content, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other departments to identify training needs and develop appropriate solutions.
* Ensure the use of best practices in instructional design, including the latest trends and technologies.
* Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of instructional materials.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Stay current with industry trends and advancements in instructional design and technology
What we expect of you:
* Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or Education, and minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, with at least 1 year in a managerial role within an IT company OR 9 years of experience in instructional design, with at least 1 year in a managerial role within an IT company
* Strong understanding of instructional design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Experience with e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and other instructional technologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
