We're proud to share our story and Make Amazing Happen at CDW. Job summary The Distribution Ops Coordinator will provide entry level support to various departments within Operations. These functions include processing inbound and outbound mail and returns, receiving damaged or defective units from areas in the warehouse and processing items being returned to our vendor partners.
* What you'll do
* Assist various department to fulfill internal and/or external service requests.
* Receive and sort incoming parcel packages or returns and send to appropriate areas.
* Stock products to designated bin locations within vendor returns warehouse.
* Pick/pack and quality control check of damaged or defective items.
* Respond to Synapse requests same day.
* Prepare stock balance items for return to vendor.
* Create Bill of Ladings using carrier websites.
* Sort and deliver mail to designated areas.
* Unload trucks or move pallets using a pallet jack or Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
* Follow Preferred Methods and Safety guidelines.
* Rotate throughout the Returns and Mailroom departments performing various functions including housekeeping.
* Assist other areas of Operations including cross-department functions, for training and operational purposes.
* What we expect of you
* High School Diploma or GED
* Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
* Critical attention to detail.
* Solid organizational and time management skills.
* Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
* Ability to prioritize, adapt to the changing needs of the business, and meet deadlines.
* Comfortable working in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as the weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors and forklifts.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team-lift for anything above 50 lbs.).
* Ability to perform 8 or more hours of standing, bending, lifting, walking, and carrying products in combination at any given time.
