We are looking for a Manager of Business & In-Branch Implementations to own the delivery of our most complex, relationship-defining implementation work within the Alkami portfolio: Business Omni, in-branch, and specialty account types. This is a role for someone who has lived inside a bank or credit union, understands what it takes to open accounts across multiple channels and product types, and knows how to build the process, structure, and team discipline that makes software implementations run smoothly at scale.
Operating within Alkami's delivery frameworks, you will start with a lean team and build from there. You will inherit a pipeline that matters, financial institution clients with real expectations, and a mandate to create order, consistency, and momentum where there is currently complexity. This position reports directly to the Director of Implementation - Initial Activations for Alkami’s MANTL product.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of Alkami's Business Omni, in-branch, and specialty account type configurations from kick-off through go-live, ensuring every financial institution client meets their commitments on time and with high quality.

  • Develop and document repeatable, scalable implementation methodologies across account types while creating the structured process layout this team needs to grow without losing consistency.

  • Hire, develop, and lead a team of Implementation Managers and specialists.

  • Start hands-on, building toward a high-functioning, self-sufficient team aligned with Alkami's leadership expectations.

  • Take clear ownership of the in-branch and specialty implementation pipeline, creating visibility into project status, risk, and pacing for Alkami internal stakeholders and clients alike.

  • Serve as an escalation point and trusted advisor for banks and credit unions navigating complex onboarding implementations, bringing clarity and confidence at moments of friction.

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support tracks to unblock deployment issues, feed back learnings, and advocate for what your clients need.

  • Operate as a key member of the Implementation leadership team, working alongside peer managers for Online/Consumer and Large Bank tracks.

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications

Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience in software implementation, project management, or technical delivery ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment.

  • Direct experience working inside a bank or credit union you understand the operational reality of financial institution workflows and retail branch environments from the inside.

  • Hands-on experience with account opening software, whether as a bank employee, implementation consultant, or vendor, and understanding what "going live" actually means in this context.

  • People management experience, or a clear, demonstrated readiness to step into a leadership role.

  • A structured, process-oriented mind to build the runbook, not just follow it.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and set expectations clearly with both financial institution executives and internal stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with DNA, IBS, Symitar, or other major core banking systems.

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent implementation projects across diverse financial institution types.

  • Prior experience building or rebuilding an implementation process or team from scratch.
