What You Will Do
- In partnership with the Sr. Director, define and foster the digital experience strategy for pro digital properties, with a primary focus on improving search, navigation, and recommendations for Pro customers
- Evaluate customer behavior, search patterns, browse paths, pre- and post-transaction data, and competitive benchmarks to identify opportunities that improve findability, product discovery, and conversion for Pro customers.
- Develop insights and data-driven recommendations that improve how Pro customers discover and evaluate products through onsite search, category navigation, taxonomy, cross-sell and upsell recommendations, and other discovery experiences across Lowe's digital ecosystem.
- Train and develop peerset to identify the highest-impact opportunities to improve the customer experience, with emphasis on search relevance, navigation flows, recommendation strategies, taxonomy optimization, digital content, and SEO across Lowe's alternative properties
- Communicate strategy, insights, and business impact to leadership to build alignment, share results of large-scale initiatives, represent category priorities, and provide subject matter expertise in search, navigation, and recommendation experiences.
- Produce weekly insights for key partners, including updates on customer behavior, search and browse performance, recommendation effectiveness, strategic priorities, and the status of cross-functional deliverables.
- Partner closely with online, core merchandising, product, analytics, and technology teams to influence roadmaps and ensure search, navigation, and recommendation strategies support Pro customer needs and business goals.
- Lead the development of annual strategic calendars for assigned merchandising divisions, ensuring alignment with category leadership and cross-functional teams, while incorporating key initiatives tied to discovery, findability, and Pro-focused experience improvements.
- Provide tactical support for in-season opportunities by identifying and responding to near-term business trends, customer needs, and performance signals across search, navigation, and recommendation experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 7 years of relevant experience
- 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, omnichannel merchandising, digital product, marketing, and/or brand or product management
- Experience using customer behavior data, search data, site analytics, and competitive insights to drive improvements in onsite search, navigation, taxonomy, recommendations, and digital discovery experiences
- 1-3 years of people leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and lead high-performing teams
Preferred Skills/Education
- Master's degree, MBA, or related field
- Experience supporting Pro or B2B customer journeys across multiple digital properties or platforms
- Experience working on search, navigation, personalization, recommendation, or product discovery strategies within complex eCommerce environments
- Experience with Bloomreach search and Algonomy recs is a plus.
