Role Summary

The Manager, Demand Generation is a hands-on leader responsible for management of inbound lead process and executing integrated demand generation programs that support sales, marketing and business priorities. This role ensures inbound and demand activity results in actionable pipeline, maintains visibility into performance, and continuously improves conversion from demand to revenue.

The Manager partners closely with leaders, CREs, Marketing, and Solution teams to execute high-impact programs with discipline, speed, and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead management & Pipeline Enablement

  • Manage the inbound lead process end-to-end, including intake, qualification, prioritization, assignment, and progression of qualified opportunities through established service-level expectations.
  • Coordinate engagement with leaders while ensuring timely acceptance, preparation, and participation

  • Drive rapid client engagement and meeting execution, facilitating outreach, scheduling, briefing materials, stakeholder coordination, and follow-through to achieve target response and meeting timelines.
  • Maintain process governance, reporting, and pipeline integrity, ensuring CRM records, opportunity data, activity tracking, action items, and status updates are complete, accurate, and current while monitoring adherence to lead management SLAs and escalation requirements.


Demand Program Execution

  • Plan and execute integrated demand generation campaigns aligned to priority solutions, industries, and accounts.
  • Coordinate digital, content, events/webcasts, nurture, and account-based tactics to deliver qualified demand.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and execution to ensure on-time, high-quality launches.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report on demand program performance, focusing on pipeline creation, progression, and conversion.
  • Identify gaps, drop-offs, and opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Apply test-and-learn approaches to strengthen future campaigns.

Tools, Data & AI Enablement

  • Use standard demand generation tools, templates, and reporting to ensure consistency and transparency.
  • Apply AI-enabled tools responsibly to accelerate execution, targeting, and performance insights.
  • Maintain strong data hygiene to support accurate pipeline visibility.

Success Measures

  • Volume and quality of pipeline generated from assigned demand programs
  • Conversion from demand activity to qualified opportunities
  • On-time execution and adoption of standard processes and tools

Qualifications

Required

  • 5-7 years of experience in demand generation or integrated B2B marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to execute programs tied to pipeline outcomes
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Data-literate with the ability to translate metrics into actions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other relevant field, equivalent experience acceptable as well

Preferred

  • Professional services or solution-based marketing experience
  • Exposure to account-based or priority account demand models
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation concepts

The base salary range for this position is between $112,000 and $181,440. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job -related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
