About Aleph

Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), an established software category with a multi-billion market but no clear winner. We’re trying to solve a problem many finance teams are super familiar with: data scattered across a million systems, endless spreadsheets and way too much time spent getting numbers to line up instead of actually using them to make decisions.

Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google, Microsoft and Bain & Company. We’re backed by top VCs (Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, YC, Picus Capital), and work with customers like Webflow, Notion, Zapier, Y Combinator and many others.

We are hiring remotely across the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM).

What we're looking for

Aleph is hiring a Manager, CX to lead a vertical within our Customer Experience team. This team implements Aleph for customers, drives adoption, and serves as a strategic partner over time.

This is a player coach role. You’ll lead a team of Engagement Managers while also owning a personal book of business, with responsibility for retention, expansion, and customer outcomes across your team’s accounts. You’ll help define how we onboard, support, and grow customers as we scale.

We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in FP&A, strategic finance, or private equity, and the judgment to work credibly with CFOs and finance leaders. The right person brings people leadership experience, strong customer instincts, and a willingness to stay close to the work in a hands-on role.

What you’ll do
  • Own team performance across net dollar retention, retention, adoption, and expansion

  • Hire and onboard Engagement Managers as the team grows

  • Lead implementations directly when needed, especially as you ramp on the product

  • Build and refine team playbooks across onboarding, account health, business reviews, escalations, and renewal readiness

  • Coach Engagement Managers on financial modeling, implementation scoping, and working with CFOs and finance leaders

  • Plan team capacity and account coverage as the book of business grows

  • Partner with Sales on customer handoffs and with Product and Engineering as the voice of the customer

  • Report on team performance, customer trends, and key risks to leadership

What we’re looking for
  • A solid track record in FP&A, strategic finance, or private equity, at a sponsor-backed company or on the fund side

  • Proven people leadership, including hiring, coaching, and developing top performers

  • Advanced modeling chops in Excel or Google Sheets

  • Confidence engaging directly with clients, particularly CFOs and controllers

  • A deep sense of ownership and the independence to thrive on a remote team

Nice to have

  • Time at a high-growth startup

  • A background running Implementation or Customer Success orgs at a planning, ERP, or other accounting software company

  • Accountability for, or contributions to, a retention or NRR target
