Job Summary
Seeking a leadership role where your expertise in carrier access sales can drive business growth? As Manager, Carrier Access Sales at Spectrum, you will guide, mentor and empower a high-performing team to achieve sales targets in the carrier and wholesale market segment. Your strategic approach and commitment will shape long-term partnerships and create lasting value for Spectrum's enterprise services.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead and develop a Carrier Access sales team by hiring, training and coaching to achieve sales quotas and business growth goals
  • Design and implement account strategies for last mile building access and carrier NNI opportunities
  • Oversee sales processes, set metrics for funnel management, analyze performance gaps and report progress to leadership
  • Compile and review sales forecasts, budgets and business case approvals to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
  • Negotiate and close carrier service contracts, facilitate contract language negotiations and coordinate customer presentations
  • Ensure team activation with necessary training on fiber-based services and internal procedures
  • Maintain current knowledge of the carrier marketplace and foster positive relationships with customers and business partners

WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS
Required qualifications:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience

Experience
  • 5-7+ years selling and managing large wholesale or national accounts

Skills
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities
  • Effective problem-solving and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and computer skills, including Salesforce
  • Strategic negotiation and knowledge of Ethernet technologies
  • Experience in business communications sales to large clients
  • Excellent communication and business acumen
  • Collaborative and multitasking abilities
  • Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record per company standards and auto insurance

  • Sales success in data, voice, cloud or video solutions
  • Salesforce proficiency
  • History of exceeding revenue quotas
  • Understanding of compensation structure
  • Ability to learn Spectrum's product suite

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Work Environment:
  • Onsite (four days onsite/one day remote)
  • Office environment with 20% - 50% travel
