How You'll Make an Impact
- Negotiate commercial and government sales contracts with internal stakeholders, including Master Service Agreements, Right of Entry Agreements, Value Added Reseller Agreements, Requests For Proposals and Non-Disclosure Agreements
- Advise sales and business teams on contract interpretation and dispute resolution
- Draft and revise contract templates and legal documents to enhance processes
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law and proposed legislation to manage risk effectively
- Collaborate with other in-house counsel and manage outside counsel on specialized customer-related issues
- Provide guidance to contract managers within the legal team
- Contribute to special legal projects and additional duties as assigned

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Juris Doctor degree from a top-tier law school
- Active State Bar Membership in good standing and ability to be licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a large law firm or in-house legal team
Skills
- Ability to proactively manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively across teams
- Elevated leadership skills and strong attention to detail
- Extensive experience with complex commercial negotiations in commercial and government settings
- Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience counseling sales organizations on demanding timelines
- Effective and tactful communicator, both in person, in writing and by telephone with a variety of deal participants
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
