Position Title: Logistics Support Specialist (Training Companies)

Location: Fort Bragg, NC

Clearance required: SECRET

Scope of Work: Provides unit-level supply logistics support for two training companies at Fort Bragg, executing property accountability, hand receipts, and supply transactions in GCSS-Army.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Perform request, receipt, inspection, inventory, storage, issue, delivery, turn-in, and preservation of property and equipment. 
  • Prepare unit and organization supply documents and accounts using GCSS-Army. 
  • Operate GCSS-Army, including parameter tables, alert processing, catalog maintenance, hand receipts, OCIE records, and Automatic Identification Technology processes. 
  • Utilize the AESIP Nonstandard Line-Item Number Module to create and manage an NSLIN Master Catalog and track conversion to standard LINs and National Stock Numbers. 
  • Prepare Inventory Adjustment Reports and Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss. 
  • Conduct sensitive item inventories per regulatory procedures and reconcile local purchase transactions. 
Qualifications
  • Active Secret clearance 
  • U.S. citizenship 
  • Thorough knowledge of governing supply and maintenance regulations 
  • Completion of GCSS-Army computer-based training for Supply; experience conducting supply operations in GCSS-Army 
  • Valid state driver's license; strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently; ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
